After several years in the industry, we were ready to go for a new adventure.
It all began in December, 2016. We started our adventure in the South and it still hasn't come to an end. We had plenty of zest, enthusiasm, ambition and liking for this moving, but we cannot deny that there was also fear in our heart, fear for what would come. We settled in San Vito dei Normanni, a small town in the province of Brindisi. We had never thought that we would like the way of living here this much, so we decided to do something with it.
We would like to tell you a little something about ourselves.
We are Fryda and Toon and we're a Dutch couple, formerly living in the Dutch provinces of Limburg and Brabant. Besides shared qualities like joy and proud, we both have a unique personality. Toon is self-assured, humorous, immune to stress, but he also likes to spend a whole day relaxing in the garden and enjoying the weather with a glass of wine. Fryda, on the other hand, is eager to learn. She's especially attracted to the Puglian culture and kitchen. Furthermore, she's a helpful and accurate woman, which are necessary qualities for renting holiday cottages. We strongly believe that the combination of our capacities and qualities drives this adventure.

Before we settled there, Puglia never drew our attention. To be honest, we had never been there before.

We thought two weeks holiday would do to get an idea of the atmosphere.The people in Salento, where the sun always shines with the wind by her side, are so frank, helpful and pure, that we decided to stay and start a new life here. They'd be only too happy to show you around their region and tell you about its characteristics. They enjoy life, they seize the day as if it were a gift worth the effort.
In sum, they accept life the way it is and they don't know any stress. And don't forget about the Puglian kitchen. It's a simple kitchen, but at the same time particularly tasteful. Using especially typical products from the region: olives, grapes, vegetables, grains and so much more.

Meantime, we own 2 jewels of holiday cottages for holiday rental. Both with their own characteristics.
